I am a computer engineer with a passion for… everything. Since I was a child, I have shown a great desire to learn and share my ideas: the example of the native entrepreneurial attitude of my father and my curiosity led me to be interested in whatever surrounded me. I see my personal satisfaction in actively contributing to the well-being of today's and future society and I believe that every moment of my life and every idea represents a great opportunity to do so. I am moody and stubborn but also rational and flexible. I studied Computer Engineering and I believe this has opened an important path for me towards my ambitions.

Training at home is still a long way from being a viable alternative to the gym experience, without the possibility of being properly monitored and motivated. By applying AI to human needs, Gymnasio aims to be the ultimate expression of the home training experience by merging the flexibility of mobile applications with the professional feedbacks of smart machines in a small and affordable hardware. I embarked on this adventure from January 2020 together with my team during the SEI Pioneer program, after our paths had already met in the Alta Scuola Politecnica's desks. Actually I'm the CTO and President of the startup.

Visionary Days is a collective brainstorming event aimed at young people and held once a year to discuss futures and issues regarding changes in our society. During the event, Lee, an artificial intelligence algorithm, virtually connects the comparison tables of all the cities: it receives the outputs from each one, processes them simultaneously and returns an immediate visualization through the screens of the room, thus enabling a real collective discussion. I joined the IT team in September 2018, in which I am in charge of the research, development and maintenance of this AI-based technological platform.

High School

I graduated with a grade of 100/100 from high school “Liceo Scientifico Scienze Applicate” at Liceo Scientifico Aeclanum in Mirabella Eclano (AV). My thesis was on Artificial Intelligence and it was entitled "".

Bachelor's Degree

I started my studies in Computer Engineering in October 2015 at the Politecnico di Torino and I obtained my bachelor's degree on July 19th 2018. During my studies I was part of the path of excellence "Percorso per Giovani Talenti", excellence course reserved to the best 200 students and dedicated to specific in-depth studies in some curricular subjects and ad hoc initiatives that integrate the traditional study plan.

SEI Explorer

Explorer is a 4-month training course organized by the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (SEI) that guides university students to discover their entrepreneurial vocation, alternating classroom training on entrepreneurial soft skills, future technologies and business planning with work experience in a start-up as a curriculum internship. During my participation I had the opportunity to collaborate in the drafting of a business plan for the Turin startup SynDiag.

Seeds For The Future

I have been selected for the Huawei’s program Seeds For The Future, an educational scholarship which took place at Huawei R&D center in Shenzen, China. The training program was reserved to world-wide ICT students (10 from Italy) and dedicated to get closer to current hot technologies like 5G, IoT and AI, through lectures and laboratory practice. Moreover, during this experience I attended the Courses of the Chinese Language & Culture Experience Program, at Beijing Language and Culture University, for a total of 24 hours.

Master's Degree

I continued my cycle of studies in Computer Engineering with a master's degree in the "software" branch. I graduated with 110/110 cum laude. My final thesis was titled "On the importance of pseudo-labeling for Generalized Zero-Shot Semantic Segmentation” and was supervised by professors Barbara Caputo (Politecnico di Torino), Matteo Matteucci (Politecnico di Milano) and Zeynep Akata (University of Tübingen) and the doctors Massimiliano Mancini (Università La Sapienza), Yongqin Xian (Max Planck Institute Informatics) and Fabio Cermelli (Politecnico di Torino).

SEI Pioneer

Pioneer is a 12 months training course dedicated to high tech innovation: I took part to mentoring sessions and lectures on business and innovation, and I worked in team first in collaboration with Sprint Reply company in a project related to the improvement of the empathic and interactive skills of the humanoid robot Pepper through AI algorithms and then to launch our business idea, Gymnasio.
